Antione Rogers (born March 4, 1982), better known by his stage name Bobby Creekwater, is an American rapper and hip-hop producer from Atlanta, Georgia who is a former member of Shady Records.〔(Bobby Creek Leaves Shady )〕 ==Biography== Creekwater was born and raised in various parts of Atlanta, Georgia, and its surrounding area. He attended Clark Atlanta University for one year before leaving to pursue his music career.〔Cordor, Cyril. "(Bobby Creekwater )", Allmusic. Retrieved on 2008-11-10.〕 He and Charlie Jangles formed the hip hop duo Jatis,〔Sanneh, Kelefa. "(Eminem and Lil Wayne, Rhyming With Friends )", ''The New York Times'', 2006-11-30, p. E5.〕 which was signed to Columbia Records and then Loud Records, but Loud was shut down before Jatis could release an album.〔 As an unsigned artist in 2004, Creekwater appeared with Aasim on the song "Anyway", from P-Money's album ''Magic City''. Creekwater was noticed by Shady Records when label executives heard him rapping on a demo by Aasim. Shady Records president Eminem was more interested in Creekwater than Aasim and, in mid-2005, signed him to his label.〔 In late 2005, Creekwater released a mixtape, ''Anthem to the Streets''. ''Newsweek'' described the recording in positive terms, saying it "delivers drug-peddling tales over the cheeriest possible dance tracks. ''Sesame Street'' sings crack rap."〔Mummolo, Jonathan (2006-10-23). "Music: Raw Rap Attacks", ''Newsweek''.〕 In March 2006, he was one of the celebrity panelists at the Detroit Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment.〔Taylor, Kimberly Hayes. "Hip-Hop Summit uses stars to promote fiscal responsibility", ''The Detroit News'', 2006-03-15, p. E1.〕〔Fortune, Cornelius A. (2006-03-29). "Shady Re-appears", ''Billboard'' 118 (39): 40.〕〔Diehl, Matt (2006-10-05). "Guess Who's Back: Eminem Returns", ''Rolling Stone'' (1010): 16.〕 Creekwater appears on five tracks, including remixes of Eminem and Nate Dogg's "Shake That" and Eminem and Akon's "Smack That".〔Wagner, Courtney. "Eminem Presents The Re-Up", ''Regina Leader-Post'', 2006-12-16, p. A8.〕 The album received mixed reviews. The ''Los Angeles Times'' wrote that Creekwater "sounds like a demonic André 3000",〔Kim, Serena. "Eminem looks back in anger", ''Los Angeles Times'', 2006-12-03, p. F13.〕 and the ''New York Daily News'' said he "has a deep tone and a smooth enough flow, revealed best on the jazz-funk 'There He Is'."〔Farber, Jim. "Em's the 'Re'-Master", ''New York Daily News'', 2006-12-08, p. 77.〕 The ''Sunday Mercury'' wrote that Creekwater is "easily the best of the three" new signings.〔Cole, Paul. "Eminem: The Re-Up", ''Sunday Mercury'', 2006-12-10, p. 5.〕 In 2007 he released two mixtapes, ''Anthem 2 Da Streetz II'' and ''Back to Briefcase''. ''The Washington Posts critic, in writing about the single "Acid Reign", said Creekwater "threatens to usurp T.I.'s throne as King of the South with effortless rhymes and slow-burning brio."〔Richards, Chris. "(The Singles File )", ''The Washington Post'', 2007-08-21, p. C5. Retrieved on 2008-11-10.〕 He is currently working on his debut album, ''A Brilliant Mistake''.〔Ryan (2006-09-12). Tracks will be produced by Mr. Porter, The Alchemist, and Don Cannon.〔Ketchum, William E. III. "(Bobby Creekwater Preps Alchemist EP, Debut Album )", HipHopDX, 2008-04-06. Retrieved on 2008-11-10.〕 In May 2009, Bobby Creekwater released his second EP in six months. The BC Era Deuce, the follow-up to the BC Era EP, was initially scheduled for a limited edition physical release on March 4, but was pushed back to March 18 and then to May 1 so that more features could be added. It was released via Creekwater's imprint, BGOV, Inc., and contained a collection of eleven new tracks, featuring production by Creekwater, as well. He left Shady Records in 2009. His song, "The Day I Got Dropped," clarified the situation, explaining that he did not get dropped by the label.〔(Bobby Creekwater - "The Day I Got Dropped" thatsthatish.com )〕 In 2014 Creekwater is scheduled to release his newest project "I Am From A Place" via his imprint/label UDCC Inc. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Bobby Creekwater」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
